Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She is a reporter covering everything starting with NASA, the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of space tourism. Kristin was born into the field of space as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. For the last five years, she has been covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations on FOX News. In that period, Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings and the 2020 presidential election and efforts by two administrations to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. In addition, she went on trips with President Trump and Vice President Biden frequently. The trip included a shady visit to Afghanistan.
